SUMMARY:Beyond the Pencil (InterUrban) - Feb 2024
DESCRIPTION:This class will be a combination of reviewing the fundamental drawing exercises and experimenting with different mediums to draw and create. Students will be encouraged to try different mediums to take their work to a new level. To think outside the box. SUMMARY:Pastel Workshop (St. Joseph) - Mar '24
DESCRIPTION:Ready to get back into pastels – or do you want guidance on where to start? This Florence themed class is for you! \nThis class will have exercises to emphasize the use of the pastels and techniques\, and is great for both beginners and those that would like more guidance in their current pastel painting process. \nI will discuss materials\, show examples of my work\, do demonstrations\, and have a planned exercise to get you familiar with the materials. Students need plenty of paper so that you have opportunity to produce more than one painting. \nI hope to inspire you with my love of pastels\, which I have been painting with since I was a teenager. I have been a member of the Mid-America Pastel Society for the last 15 years. \nThis workshop takes place on Saturday\, March 30th 2024\, between 10:30am to 4:30pm.
